We aspire to be a beacon of cultural exchange, connecting people through the diverse and rich traditions of Panama. By honoring Panama's legacy as the 'Bridge of the World' and the 'Heart of the Universe,' we aim to foster a greater appreciation and understanding of Panamanian culture, both locally and globally.

Hi! I’m Carla Ortiz, a preschool teacher with over 20 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Along with my love for working with children, I’m also deeply passionate about preserving and sharing the vibrant dances and traditions of my Panamanian heritage. This passion brought me to the Panama Folklore Seattle Board, where I’m proud to celebrate and pass on our cultural legacy to the community.
